Sight Seeing

We're expecting company this week in Maryland. My older sister is coming from Indiana to spend four days with us. One of the great things about moving to Maryland has been the potential for cool day trips and sightseeing. When family came last summer and fall we went to Washington DC, Mt. Vernon, and Gettysburg. We still cogitating about where to go and what to do for this weekend. If it was Cherry Blossom time it would be a no-brainer but we don't quite have the warmth for that just yet. We've talked about going to Thomas Jefferson's home, Monticello. I wouldn't mind visiting another civil war battlefield or even going to Gettysburg for the third time. Arlington, the National Zoo and the baby panda, the Baltimore Aquarium have also gone on the list. See what I mean? Maryland is a great place to live. Wherever we go I'll be blogging it.
